I was sitting here thinking about what to write, and I figured I'd give a little picture update of the past couple months.
Let's start with January.
After Christmas in Georgia (of which I have too many pictures to post, sorry!), I headed back to Honolulu. But first I made a stop in Arizona with my sweet Debbie! She's definitely one of my favorite people. And one of my mentors since middle school. She loves me. And I love her. It was so refreshing and encouraging to spend time with her and Leonard. (They are grandparents now!! Lucky kid.)
I returned to Hawaii just in time for a bridal shower for my dear friend Cary (in the middle). She eloped over Christmas and married our good friend, Chris! Crazy kids! We're all so excited.
My big January event was 2 days in Maui with my sweet friend Kelly from church. We drove around almost the entire island, went on 4 hikes, and saw the sunrise from a volcanic crater.

It was the most beautiful place I have ever seen.
February
I got a FedEx from my dad's office...complete with Caroline's post-it note still attached. All the way from Marietta. A trans-Pacific miracle! :)
I have AWESOME friends at my church here in Honolulu. We had a girls brunch for Valentine's Day. I love these girls! (And you will definitely hear more about them and our other wonderful friends in future blogs...)
February ended with the graduation of our latest Discipleship Training School students. This was a great group of students! I particularly adored two of the girls. My sweet Stephy from Spain and my cute Mandy from Georgia. I knew both of them before they came, and it was beyond a joy to have them here! I loved watching them learn and grow and minister. Here is a picture of Stephy and I...and one of Mandy sharing at the graduation ceremony.

What a rockstar! It was so cool to hear all the testimonies of what God did in the Philippines, Thailand, India, and Nepal...and how He changed these girls' lives at the same time. I love this ministry that I'm a part of!!
March
(I can't believe we're almost at the end of March. Where does the time go?)
March started with a trip to the North Shore of Oahu to hang out with some dear friends (twins!) on their birthday! Here we are in front of the "Lost" beach camp set. I'm not really a huge fan of the show, but it was still cool to see!
I'm in John Locke's grave!
One of my main jobs here at YWAM Honolulu is coordinating our campus-wide Prayer & Intercession times. One week, we prayed for modern day slavery. (Did you know that there are currently 27 million people enslaved around the world today? Its heartbreaking! Here's a website you can check out if that interests you: http://www.stopthetraffik.org/) Here is a cool picture of that prayer time. Everyone wrote prayers on the ground with sidewalk chalk. It was a great morning!
A BFF birthday tradition...

And last but not least, some highly anticipated Prayer Room construction! (I know I said last time that my next post would be about the Prayer Room...but apparently I was wrong. So maybe it will be the next one? We'll see where inspiration leads...)
And THAT is a RANDOM recap of the past 3 months.

That is so cool.
Hmmm... Locke's grave. He is an interesting character. We are studying him now in one of my classes. I'd much rather stand on his grave than read his Essay on Human Understanding. O well.
Thanks Pammie!!
Kurt, it would have been WAY more cool to stand at THAT Locke's grave. Sadly this is just on the Lost set...and Locke is one of the characters on the show.
Hey Tatum!! I loved all the photos!! You look so beautiful!! I am so happy for you that you are at where the Lord wants you=)
