No Pictures from Kona

This has been a fantastic week.

From early Sunday morning until late Tuesday night, me and 2 friends were in Kona at the University of the Nations. (I feel like Hawaii can be confusing to some folks, so I'll break it down for you. I'm live in Honolulu on the island of Oahu. Kona is a small town on the island of Hawaii (aka "the big island"). So flying to Kona is a big treat and a real vacation.)

The University of the Nations is one of our biggest (if not THE biggest) YWAM campuses. On my little YWAM base in Honolulu we currently have 25 DTS students and 50 staff. They have somewhere around 300 DTS students and hundreds of staff. Its a totally different world.

I LOVE visiting Kona for so many reasons...
~ the obvious break from normal life and lack of responsibility. :)
~ there are some seriously awesome people there...people that I adore and rarely get to see
~ they have a prayer room in Kona and daily times of corporate prayer. I went both days that I was there. Amazing. That's all I can say. I'm so excited for our little YWAM base in Honolulu to have a prayer room/ministry up and running!!

I left Kona feeling blessed and refreshed. I had such a great time with my friends and with the Lord. My excitement for our new prayer room here in Honolulu was re-ignited. Which will be my whole next blog post...the soon-to-be Honolulu prayer room!!

But I forgot to take any pictures.

ANNNNNDDD to end my week, my sweet friend in Georgia, Katie B, had a beautiful baby girl, Lydia Rose!!! She's gonna be the best mom ever. I can't wait to meet that little one in a few months!!
